Cattery life

Before you arrive preparations have been made to make sure that everything is ready for your cats holiday with us, from selecting the right cattery block and even which suite is appropriate for their age, breed and personal needs. Only cats from the same household share a suite.

Both cattery blocks are double glazed and have heating or air conditioning depending on the time of year, so that your pet is comfortable all year round, we also have additional heat lamps in case the weather gets extremely cold. We also have calming music playing for the cats during the day.

Our family block has a lovely view of our little courtyard with beautiful flowers and our single block has a beautiful view over our reception grass.  

Our cattery lay out is designed to create and maintain a calm environment, the family block caters for families of cats up to 4 sharing. There are multiple levels to give your cats choice, whether they want to snuggle up in the hidey box, race down the ramp, chill on the shelves or chase a ball along the floor.

During the day, your cat will be experiencing 2 enrichment sessions, whether this is cuddles, grooming, hide and seek or just having someone close to talk to them, whatever they need we can accommodate.

We feed twice daily unless otherwise specified, we ask that you bring your pets own food and treats to avoid any upset tummies. Beds, bedding, bowls and litter trays are provided but you are welcome to bring blankets, scratch-posts or something else that smells of home.

Medication is administered at no extra charge, we do ask that if medication is needed to be given out of our staff working times then please call to discuss this so that preparations can be made.

Vaccination cards must be shown on arrival or a photograph emailed prior to each stay. The vaccinations required are the annual core vaccinations.

In the unlikely event that your pet becomes unwell, we will try to contact yourselves or your emergency contact  for advice, in the case of an emergency your pet will be taken to the nearest vets whether that is your registered vets or our registered vet.
